The OH-SO-CREEPY basement!!

 

 

 

Here you go again...creepy stairs, this time it I am taking you to the BASEMENT!!

 

 



 

 

This is the main part of the basement notice AGAIN there is another mural in the corner :)

BIG attic

 

this is a pic of the north side of the attic....ok so the boards werent ALWAYS torn up, we had to tear  up the boards so that the electricians could put in lights above the bedrooms and because they ran cords down them. But eventually this room will be a hang out for the boys :)

Ok this is the stairs to the attic..little small and little creepy, add new stairs to the list of things to do on our list!!  

 

 

Upstairs Bathroom

 

 

I am keeping this sink.. planning on using it in a guest bathroom

Looks bad now, but thats where we keep all the tools we need!! LOL

 

 

 

 

Dont really know what this picture painted on the corner was supposed to be....but im NOT KEEPING IT!! lol

 

Oh! and did i mention...whoever did this PAINTED on all of the the woodwork in here!! Great now i have another job to do! :)

 

 

 

The smaller door goes to a HUGE closet :)  And the bigger door goes to the attic, i will show u in the next post.

 

 

Here is where we took out the north window, we will be doing some raising of the roof line eventually and the window had to go, besides, our vanity will go there...well u will see :)

Northwest bedroom upstairs, Kylers room

 

 

Yes i know messy..this is the northwest bedroom

 

 

 

and this is looking into the closet of the NW bedroom, all of the closets are a nice size...thats good cause i like to shop for my boys :)

 

 

 

Here is where i actually cleaned it up, icky green carpet in here. All the bedrooms have such wonderful hardwood floors in them. But Art and i need to keep our sanity so we were convinced to eventually put carpet in them :)

Gotta Love a sister in-law that is VERY talented!!

Ok I am sure some of you have maybe seen this on Pinterest? well i told my sister in-law that i wanted something like this for Keltons room, and this is what she surprised me with....

The South-West room, Kelton's Room

 

 

This view is into the South-West bedroom, it is the smallest room BUT it has the best view onto main street....I told the boys that it will be the room they have to be in when they are grounded, they can watch the parade from it ;)

 

 

 

just alittle messy! again we had to fix the ceiling...thats MY MUDDING work up there...not good!!

 

Thats why i decide the heck with it IM HIRING someone to do it!

 

 

 

 

My lovely cleaning job...again! Im not very helpful during the demo and rebuilding stuff stage!!

The South-East bedroom

 

 

OK this is a view into one of the upstairs bedrooms

 

 

 

 

This is looking out of that room into the hallway. Noticed that we had to re-sheetrocked the ceiling? there were HUGE cracks in the ceiling before!!

 

 

 

my job in the house this weekend was "CLEANING" looks alittle better....

This is what we had to tear completely  open this is looking into the living room.

Everyone is wondering why we haven't moved in or what we are doing, well we are doing the boring YET crucial things, like *shivers* DUCT WORK!

 

Right now we are also working with one of the BEST electricians, MIKE HARPER :)

Living room...Great woodwork!!

 

Okay here is the view of the awesome staircase! i cant decide if i want the top part of the railing or get rid of it...what do you guys think?

 

 

I should really take closer pictures of the wordwork! it is really great, and yes i am keeping it and refinishing it too! We are opening up the front windows, so we will have alot of light coming through!

There was a bathroom put in, it was put in the dining room...i guess when you gotta go you gotta go!!

 

Through the little door way, you see red carpet....

If anyone is interested in useing this in their house or maybe lining their dashboards....well we already junked the carpet, SORRY :)

Here is part of the view as if you were to walk into the back entrance..behind that little wall was a SHOWER! I dont know about you, but i dont think i would have liked company entering and seeing me in the shower...or should i say "THEY" wouldnt like seeing me in there!! LOL


The "well-put together" garage..

 When we bought the house or even BEFORE we bought the house my dad was bound and determined to get rid of that tree behind the garage!

                          The tree was removed 2 weeks after
                              we closed! :)
